Hi,
I've manualy installed the EDO plugin to my touch by performing the
following steps:
- Downloaded the EDO plugin zip file from
https://code.google.com/archive/p/tr...lets/downloads.
- Unpacked the EnhancedDigitalOutput-v0.8.zip file and copyd the files
to the touch into the directory
/usr/share/jive/applets/EnhancedDigitalOutput/
- Rebooted the touch
I've no idea if the pluging is already working. Because I am blind and
therefore I can not read the screen of the touch I wonder if I can
select the output device via the player settings of my local LMS or via
another method.
I've found the following error in the log on the touch which may be
related to the problem that my DAC is not found:
Jan 1 01:00:21 squeezeplay: INFO applet.EnhancedDigitalOutput -
EnhancedDigitalOutputMeta.lua:66 kernel is not latest usb kernel
Jan 1 01:00:21 squeezeplay: WARN applet.EnhancedDigitalOutput -
EnhancedDigitalOutputMeta.lua:83 kernel does not support usb extensions
How can I verify if the plugin is installed and working corectly?
If I need to update or reinstall the kernel, how can this be done via
the shell?
How can I select the output device, e.g. my DAC?
Is there a newer version of the plugin available?
Thanks for your help and any hint!
Cheers,
Schoepp
