We have two PCs, PC 1 is running LMS under Windows XP. I have two Squeezebox Touches connected to the network, and use these to play from a library on PC 1. I also have an iPod Touch on which I installed iPeng, and use this to stream from the same library over the network.
Across the room, PC 2 is connected to the same network, and is a Win 8.1 machine, which does not have LMS installed. When I look under Device Manager, it has a list of all the devices used from PC 1 to play back from PC 1's library - the two SBTs, the Music Library itself, and ... over 250 instances of the iPod Touch. I have no idea how they got there, nor why there should be over 250 instances of the iPod Touch, unless it's adding one every time I use it. I click Properties on any of the iPod instances, and the info shows manufacturer as Logitech, and Model as Squeezebox.
I/we have no interest in accessing any of the LMS components from PC 2, only from PC 1.
Can anyone suggest why any of this appears on PC 2, and what I can do to remove it?
