Hello everyone - glad this forum exists.
I bought two Squeezebox Booms maybe 6 years ago or so. Kept one for myself, and gave the girlfriend one.
Mine stopped working a few weeks ago, just assumed it was dead and could not be resurrected.
She gave me hers to listen to,and I figured out that mine still works fine using her power cord, but not when I use my cord. Nothing visibly wrong with it that I can see.
It looks like a closed unit, is there anything I can try to do to fix it? And if not, anyone know where can I get a replacement?
This is the model: Logitech Squeezebox Boom Power Adapter Supply V06792 12V 2.5A PSC30R-120
I have a Squeezebox touch attached to my home stereo with 2 sets of speakers, and with the boom at the other end of the house, the setup works great. So I would like to keep the whole system working.
I see one on ebay for $37 which seems pricey. I also see what appears to be generic knockoff replacements on ebay for much cheaper, but afraid to buy something and hook it up that could damage my boom.
Can anyone help? - Thanks much.
