Transporter dropouts

I've just started to experience drop outs or cut outs with my transporter.
I also experience glitches when some power (AC) switches are operated in the area.

I have power cycled the transporter.

I'm using WiFi on a channel which has little to no use.

I have other WiFi music players that don't exhibit similar characteristics.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
